Mexico City
David Cuentaleyendas is a historian, chronicler, contemporary storyteller and creator of immersive experiences who has turned the streets of Mexico City into living stages of mystery, history and tradition. Inspired by the legends that live in the oldest corners of the country, he has devoted his life since 2010 to rescuing forgotten stories, unexplained events and memories that refuse to disappear. His unique style combines historical research, theatricality and a deep connection with the Mexican popular imagination. He is recognised nationally and internationally as the creator of the leyendero concept and a teller of legends in Mexico. He has received numerous awards and he is a benchmark for cultural tourism and mystery tourism in Mexico City. With an unmistakable presence (often dressed in retro or catrín style), David does not just tell stories: he brings them to life. Every night walk he leads becomes a sensory journey in which attendees are not spectators but part of the legend. He has taught workshops, courses and lectures specialised in mythology and legendry since 2010.
