The Experience
Teatro Xola (Julio Prieto) is at Avenida Xola #809, Del Valle neighbourhood, Benito Juárez borough, close to Xola metro station (Line 2). The season is short: five Mondays, with one performance per date at 8:00 pm, and the closing night on 2 November moves earlier to 6:00 pm, so arrive with time that day. As a soliloquy, the format works better close to the stage: front rows follow the actor's gestures best.
About the Play
In D'Mente, actor Ari Telch stays alone on stage to talk about something that is rarely said out loud: mental health and illness. He does it as a soliloquy, without ornaments, facing the audience and using humour as one of the tools to approach an uncomfortable subject. The result is an intimate performance: one actor, one text and a conversation that can touch anyone who has been through a crisis of their own or accompanied someone through theirs. The Mexico City season plays on Mondays 5, 12, 19 and 26 October and Monday 2 November 2026 at Teatro Xola (Julio Prieto), in the Del Valle neighbourhood, with performances at 8:00 pm except 2 November, which starts at 6:00 pm. Tickets are sold on Ticketmaster; this listing does not publish amounts.
