A night walk by candlelight and oil lamp through old Saltillo
Night walk by candlelight and oil lamps through the Museo de la Katrina, at Calle Ignacio Allende 720-A in downtown Saltillo. Guide Erik Morales plays 'Don Jesú' and stages legends of old Saltillo such as La Llorona and El Charro Negro, plus characters from Coahuila's oral tradition. There are two shows a night, at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
You enter the museum when the daylight is gone and the walk moves between candles and oil lamps, with the collection as the set. 'Don Jesú' leads the tour and embodies the characters of old Saltillo: La Llorona, El Charro Negro and the stories told in hushed voices in Coahuila. With two times a night, it also works as a plan after dinner downtown.
The Museo de la Katrina opens at night to tell the story of old Saltillo by candlelight. With Erik Morales in the role of 'Don Jesú', the walk stages legends such as La Llorona and El Charro Negro, and adds characters from Coahuila's oral tradition, in two shows on Fridays and Saturdays.
