Tales of blood, vengeance and nahuales.
Immersive theatrical horror walkthrough with La Llorona, El Charro Negro and Camazotz at the Museum of the Inquisition, every Friday and Saturday. Booking required via WhatsApp. Maximum 40 guests.
The Museum of the Inquisition, Trials and Tortures is a historic venue designed for up-close horror. The walkthrough unfolds on foot through hallways, with darkness, jump scares and actors just steps from the audience; the museum itself works as the show's living scenery.
A single night brings together three icons of horror that have terrified generations of Mexicans: La Llorona (the Weeping Woman), with her endless wailing; El Charro Negro, the temptation of land and money; and Camazotz, the bat god of the Mayan underworld. Built around ritual, jump scares and legend, Partidazo de Leyendas y Lamentos recovers Mexican folk horror: death, debt, guilt and the ancestral. The production is part of the work of DLeyenda Producciones, in a staged experience that takes the Museum of the Inquisition itself as living scenery: the route moves through the halls and rooms of the historic Tacuba 76 building, in Mexico City's Historic Center. Here horror is not watched from a distance: it is walked. La Llorona's wailing, the Charro Negro's temptation and Camazotz's ancestral flight haunt the audience throughout the show, in a small-capacity format (maximum 40 guests per show) that makes the experience direct, intense and personal.
